Seventeen staff from the IRRI Experiment Station (ES) and Training Center (TC) had the opportunity to update and refresh their skills and knowledge on the maintenance, matching, and correct use of farm implements, and on the safe operation of tractors.
Engr. Eugene Castro, Jr., senior research manager of the IRRI TC, was the resource person for the course, titled Farm Mechanization Skills. This activity was held from 30 September to 2 October at IRRI headquarters, Los BaƱos, Philippines. This is in partnership with the Human Resource Services as part of IRRI’s commitment to excellence and to provide opportunities for learning and professional growth.
